Two rings that let the whole timer turn without lifting it.

The timer hangs at the centre of two concentric rings, each set inside the other and pivoting on small screws at the sides, so the whole assembly can be tipped end over end without lifting it off the stand. A waisted vessel holds pale sand that runs through the narrow middle. Small spheres cap the top and bottom of the inner ring. Below, a fluted stem flares into a shaped footed base, and the finish is warm and lightly antiqued throughout.
