A sensor starts the airflow as hands come under the outlet and cuts it as they move away, so there is nothing to press or touch between one user and the next. The casing is angular and sits flat to the wall, with vents down one side drawing air in. It runs from a fixed supply rather than standing on a surface, so nothing takes up basin space, and the shell wipes down along with the rest of the room.
