A shallow round unit carries a broad ring around its outer edge, lit evenly all the way round. Inside it, a recessed bowl holds a dense set of narrow blades radiating from a small centre cap, sitting below the rim so the moving parts stay within the housing. It screws into an existing lampholder rather than being wired in, so the fitting it replaces is the fitting it uses. A handset sets the brightness, tone, fan speed and a timer.
