The aluminium guide holds the drill bit dead-centre, so every hinge hole lines up
This 35mm hinge drilling template is machined from aluminium alloy and guides a drill bit into position for concealed cabinet hinges. The flat body carries an adjustable scale marked for 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm hinge offsets, so the same tool sets up different hinge types. Extra guide holes at each side line up the screw positions for the hinge plate. The whole template weighs 97g and fits in a tool drawer alongside drill bits and screwdrivers.
Why is this Hinge Drilling Template perfect for you?
- Adjustable offset scale: Switch between 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm settings without changing tools, so one template covers several hinge styles.
- Centred guide hole: Keeps the drill bit on the marked spot, so the hinge hole lands in the same place every time.
- Side screw holes: Line up the fixing screws for the hinge plate, so the panel goes on straight the first time.
- Aluminium alloy body: Resists corrosion and rust, so the template stays accurate after repeated use in the workshop.
