One supply comes in and two outlets go out, each with its own handle, so you can run either line on its own or both together without unscrewing anything or swapping fittings over. A quarter turn opens or closes each side, which means no winding and no guessing where it sits. The threaded outlets take a hose or an appliance connector directly. A round flange covers the pipe entry at the wall, so the joint behind it stays out of sight.
